Over the past 14 years, I have worked as a teacher at the middle, high, and community college levels and as a high school administrator. Before beginning my present position as principal of Pelham High School, my roles included assistant principal, biology teacher, business management teacher, and business consultant to medical device companies. I hold the following degrees: BS in biology, MBA in management, MAE in secondary biology education, MEd in instructional leadership, and an EdS in instructional leadership. I earned my doctorate in instructional leadership at Samford University.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Michael who is a gifted specialist at Thompson Middle. My interests include reading history and British mysteries, traveling to historical sites, and shopping. I am a stepmother to Taylor and a pet parent to my cats Sam and Eli.
