Assistant Principal 


Paul D. Litten believes that every student is unique and deserves an opportunity to find success. He has devoted himself to the service of teachers and students to do everything he can to help them maximize their potential. The 2021-2022 school year is his 12th in education and his honored to be serving the Pelham community as an assistant principal. He received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Birmingham-Southern College and taught at Simmons Middle School and North Jefferson Middle School before becoming the choir director at Homewood Middle School, where he taught choir, show choir, general music, music technology, computer science, and coached track and field for eleven years. Paul completed his Master of Education in Instructional Leadership degree in 2016 and his Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership degree in 2018.

 

Paul Litten is married to Sara. They have two children, Marley (8) and Reid (4), and two dogs, Wallace and Bruce. 

 

Mr. Litten is thrilled to be a member of the Pelham Family!
