Pelham High School's two winners in the District IVB section of the 2025 Visual Arts Achievement Program on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the University of Montevallo.
Inaaya Shafique won Honorable Mention in the High School Painting category.
Anthony Garcia Flores won 1st place in the High School New Media Category.
Both artworks will go to the state competition in Montgomery next month. Well done you two!

PHS Productions completed their district competitions to qualify for state competition in April. TWO of the three teams qualified from the Central District in Video News Production. They will head to Mobile in April to compete for Nationals. Congratulations the following students!
Team 1: Baker Franklin, MaKenzie Lewis, Macaelan Thompson, and Owen Bentrup.
Team 2: Julia Reese Davis, Emma Grace Morgan, Emma Grace Howard, and Josh Lewis.
Give it up for the FCCLA team and their phenomenal performance at Jeff State College this past week! There was a lot of hard work and dedication from the culinary chefs and students!

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have once again recognized Alex Adams! This year she has won the Silver Key Award for her senior portfolio entitled "A Child Within." Alex has been recognized all four years of high school by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her outstanding writing. Sending a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Alex!
